The DishTemp Blue is a plate-simulating dishwasher thermometer designed to help you verify sanitization temperatures and maintain HACCP compliance.

DishTemp Blue works with Task Manager to turn dishwasher temperature checks into a fully automated, audit-ready process.

Instead of relying on machine readings or manual logs, DishTemp Blue measures the actual surface temperature of dishes and sends the data directly into your Task Manager forms via Bluetooth.

Temperature Requirements

To meet sanitization standards, ensure your dishwasher reaches the following:

United States

  • Minimum 160°F (71°C) surface temperature on utensils

United Kingdom

  • Wash cycle: ≥ 55°C
  • Final rinse: ≥ 82°C

Steps:

1. Start the Task

1. Open your Dishwasher Temperature Check task in Task Manager.

NOTE

  • To create a Dishwasher Temperature Check, create a Custom Form with the required fields. Be sure to include a TEMPERATURE FIELD, see Create Custom Forms in Task Manager
  • This is typically required once per shift as part of HACCP procedures.

2. Place the Device

1. Place the DishTemp Blue flat in a dishwasher rack.

2. Position it like a normal plate.

3. Run the Dishwasher

1. Run a standard wash cycle.

2. No special settings required.

4. Open the Form

1. Navigate to your Task Manager form.

Example: Dishwasher CCP Check

2. Ensure it includes a temperature field.

5. Connect via Bluetooth

1. Select the DishTemp Blue device from the available list.

2. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on.

6. Capture the Reading

1. Open the dishwasher after the cycle.

2. Press the button on the DishTemp Blue.

The device will:

  • Transmit the recorded temperature

Troubleshooting Tips

  • No reading appears? Ensure Bluetooth is on and the correct device is selected
  • Low temperature result? Re-run the cycle and inspect the dishwasher
