NOTE

Use WasteTracking to record waste that was prepped, recorded using a 1-to-1 ratio, and printed on a DateCodeGenie® device.

Steps:

1. Tap the EatSuite app on the tablet home screen.

2. Log in with an email and password.

3. Tap Launch under WasteTracking.

4. Tap the profile button to select the store and staff member.

5. Select Store from the dropdown, then click Next.

6. Select Staff Member from the dropdown, then click Save Selection.

7. Tap the button in the middle of the dashboard to start scanning.

8. Scan the print ID QR code using the tablet camera.

9. Enter the Quantity being wasted.

10. Select Waste Reason from the dropdown.

11. Tap Confirm.

12. A waste recorded pop-up will appear. Tap Scan Next Item to continue using the camera to scan, or tap Back To Dashboard to finish.

NOTE

The Waste saved locally; DCG sync pending - will retry automatically notification means the waste is recorded in WasteTracking, but will appear in the Pending tab because the DateCodeGenie prepped data has not updated and synced.

Once the DateCodeGenie downloads updates and syncs, the record will be automatically removed from the Pending tab and recorded in the Wasted tab. 

 

13. To return to EatSuite, click the home button (house icon).
